The Christian Rock 20 was started in September of 2008 after the idea stemmed from casual walk around the ACU campus in Abilene Texas.

Hosted by Paul Gibson, a former DJ at Power FM in Dallas and Power 103 in Abilene Texas,  the CR20 combines high energy, slick production, artist interviews and a passion for music.
After being in the radio industry for 8 years, Paul decided to follow his passion of Christian rock music and started producing a show that not only has great music, but has the entertainment value and high energy of Top 40 radio.

Debuting the show in September of 2008 on Everything Alternative 98X in Abilene, Texas with an interview with Rock/Hip-Hop artist Manafest, the show was out to a strong start and has no signs of stopping. Since the first show, many more artists have done interviews on the CR20 including: Pillar, Superchic(k), Red, Brian “Head” Welch (formerly of Korn), Sanctus Real, Family Force 5, Underoath, Disciple, Decyfer Down, and many more.
